Dear Church,
Last Sunday I spoke on Agape Love. Meanwhile, Sis Pauline Leong, the founder of Semarak Kasih Single Mother’s Association shared her vision for the community. Praise God, more than RM1,800 worth coupons were sold for their Fun Fair on 20 Dec 2015. The church also sprang a surprise for my birthday which was unexpected!
A Discipler of Pastors
This Sunday, Ps Donald Anamalai will be preaching the Word. Ps Donald converted many during his teaching days at Keat Hwa school Alor Setar. Some of his disciples became pastors, including Rev Dr. Vincent Leoh of Glad Tidings church. We will be co-hosting with 3 other churches (Alpha Colors, Cross Culture and Good Tidings Church) the Global Day of Worship in our church today (31 October) from 4.30 pm – 8 pm. Do come and join us in singing high praises to the Lord. New Life is taking the first session.
Nation Changing
The 3rd session of the 13th Malaysian Parliament commenced on 19th October and is scheduled to end on 3 December. During these important days, MPs will debate the Budget and pass bills, all of which will affect the way we live, work and eat! It is thus important for us pray for God to direct our lawmakers for His good purpose,
Proverbs 21:1 The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.
Pray Likewise
On October 13, 2013 the US Senate chaplain prayed for the senators during the opening of the Senate session. “Remove from them that stubborn pride. Give them a hatred of all hypocrisy, deceit and shame as they seek to replace them with gentleness, patience and truth,” he said. May this also be our prayer for our MPs during this parliamentary session..
