As we approach the end of the year, it is always good to reflect and to recall the goodness of the Lord. We asked some of our members to write down the blessings they have experienced from God during the year. There are many and here are just a few for the next couple of weeks:
Miracle – My Lost Computer
In May I board a night train back after my Haggai Facilitators Training in USJ. When I reached home I realized I left my computer in the LRT. My heart sank because I lost the contents and data in the computer which are so precious to me. That night I just worship the Lord and pray for a miracle that my computer would be found. The Lord spoke to me in a still voice “Be still”. The next morning in my quiet time, the Lord spoke again “Be still”. God spoke twice I better listen and trust God for the impossible. I knew in my spirit that God was at work. His ways are higher than my ways and His thoughts are higher than my thoughts. By faith, I just pray with thanksgiving and trust God for the miracle and stay in His peace. Next day, I went back to the training. I told the Trainer I lost my computer in the LRT. The first thing he said ‘It’s gone especially yours is a new computer.” The lady sat next to me knew I lost my computer, she asked me “How come you are so calm” I told her God said ‘Be still”. I had to be still in His peace and wait upon the Lord. Lo and behold, that afternoon, that lady was the first to receive a message in the Training Chat Group that a computer was found. She was so excited and showed me the photo “Is this your computer?” I said “Yes! It’s a miracle my computer is found!!” All praises and glory to God!! ~ Lena Lee
God has blessed me a lot in 2019. I fell into a dark place at the start of the year. It was as if everything was falling apart and crushing down. I’m thankful that God has brought me out of that darkness and has blessed me with everything I have right now. Be it good friends, amazing opportunities, great memories and experiences, I’m thanking Him every day as we approach the end of the year, it is always good to reflect and to recall the goodness of the Lord. If He didn’t, I probably would have been taking pills by now. God has a plan for all of us. Whatever happens, let it happen, because God knows what He’s doing. ~ Alison Chua
In 2019, God has blessed me by helping my family and I through financial problems and God has helped me to look through people and cope with each other. God has taken away friends from me but God has also blessed my relationship to be stronger with my current friends.
God has blessed me with the opportunity to serve in more ministries and He has prepared me for the troubles and obstacles that I would face either in serving or in my daily life. God has blessed me with so much more than I’ve ever asked for and He has guided me into the right path, where He has been leading me into a bigger future and has blessed me with the thought of knowing that I can rely on Him and show and pour out my emotions to Him either physically or mentally. God has been my all through 2019 and I can’t thank him enough for the love, grace, mercy, strength, empowerment and patience that He has given me throughout this year. ~ Jayden Tan
