Rev Dr. Jeremiah Yap is the Group Senior Pastor over the New Life Restoration Churches in Malaysia. Under his leadership with God’s favor and grace, he and his team of Pastors planted 20 vibrant congregations over 30 years of his ministry. The churches are among the English-speaking, Chinese-speaking church, the Iban tribe in East Malaysia, the Orang Asli in peninsula Malaysia, and the Myanmar community.

Rev. Jeremiah Yap is highly sought after as a speaker locally and internationally in church camps and conferences for leaders and ministers because of the strong prophetic and apostolic anointing upon his life and ministry. His leadership strength in mentoring leaders has been well received by many pastors that have sought him out to be their mentor. His group of New Life pastors have benefited greatly from his humble leadership. His concepts of Kingdom Church, Kingdom Family and Kingdom People have encouraged many in their faith and elevated them in a life of purpose and destiny. In these concepts is the vision of empowering Christian men and families to enter into God’s Kingdom Life in order that they may be victorious in daily Christian living.

Rev. Jeremiah and his wife Susan have 3 adult children – Jeremy, Stephen and Eunice. He was born again in 1975 in Melbourne, Australia. He graduated from Monash University, Australia and Malaysian Bible Seminary.

The New Life Group of Churches was founded in 1981 by a group of six young people – led by our Group Senior Pastor Jeremiah Yap – who were obedient to God’s call on their lives. After 39 years, it has planted 70 churches throughout Malaysia and in some neighbouring countries.
