Ps David Tham preached on Experiencing Kingdom Living by studying the life of young Jesus (Luke 2:41-42) whilst yours truly preached in the BM church from the story of David & Goliath. After service, we all enjoyed bro. CJ Ling’s very interesting talk on Foundations of Good Health during the special interest group session. This Sunday, I will be sharing on “Agape Love – What is it?”
Haze Menace
We need to pray. The Haze has caused schools open one day and close the next, respiratory ailments increase and planes get grounded. 3,000 people have been stranded in Langkawi due to cancelled flights. Meanwhile it was reported today that the haze has reached the city of Danao Philippines. Experts say the forest fires are unlikely to be put out until next year. Not if we can help it. We can use our God-given authority to rebuke the haze away.
Mark 4:39 He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.
Rainbow of Hope
Give courage, O Lord to those who fight fires,
Send down gentle rain to remove the haze.
Do not allow the forces of nature to carry out a sentence upon us,
Even though we deserve it.
As You did sent to Noah of old, send also to us a rainbow of hope.
