Reverend Ir. Lawrence Chen is the Senior Pastor of New Life Restoration Centre, Petaling Jaya.
Lawrence graduated with his Master of Ministry from Malaysia Bible Seminary and presently serves as a Council Member of his alma mater. He completed his Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), Monash University, Melbourne, and is registered as a Professional Engineer in Malaysia and a Chartered Professional Engineer in Australia.
Lawrence desires everyone to experience the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He is passionate in equipping and empowering people. He focuses on building a church that is fervent in worship, engaged in ministry, and mobilized in mission here and into the nations.
Lawrence is married to Lip Yee and they have three grown up children.
