As our church goes through a new season of transitions, changes, renovations and reorganisation, please be in earnest prayer for our Lord’s gracious hand to steer us, guide us and protect us. Pray for Pastor Lawrence and Lip Yee that God’s wisdom be upon them and that the Lord will strengthen them.
Below are some prayers of faithful folks for the church during this season of new and exciting things ahead:
Heavenly Father, preparing for anything new is uncomfortable and can be scary – all require courage and faith. If we are watchful, we might begin to see ways that God is working in our lives that we previously never dreamed of. New things may become visible. God has more in store for us than we know. God makes that which is impossible possible. Because our hope is sure, our faith should be active and alive, acted out on a daily basis.
For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. (Ephesians 2:10).
True faith carries the essence of hope. Therefore, let’s ask God for help in order that we could trust in his promises and believe strongly that he will definitely do something good for our land.
Heavenly Father, we pray for anointing and strength of God to rest upon the youth, pastors, leaders and workers, for them to have vision and courage to spearhead new things. That the favour of God be upon Christian leaders, give them Godly wisdom, courage and strength.
Hope in God produces faith in Jesus Christ and it motivates us to love all the saints.
Just as we received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as we were taught and overflowing with thankfulness. (Colossians 2:6-7).
We pray that the church will be an agent of hope and love for our nation.
For the 5-fold ministry – Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers, to be established in every church in order to equip all the saints for the service of his kingdom. If we do our work as unto the Lord, the work will undoubtedly bear the best fruit. To us will be given “an inheritance from the Lord as a reward”. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
May the Lord bless the new Life groups and the leaders over them. May they be fruitful and multiply. Trust in the Lord and do not trust in what you see or what you feel or what you can understand. God will surely be your helper.
