Reverend Jeremiah Yap is the Group Senior Pastor over the New Life Restoration Churches in Malaysia. Under his leadership with God’s favor and grace, he and his team of Pastors planted 18 vibrant congregations over 27 years of his ministry. There are five English-speaking churches, five Chinese-speaking churches, four churches among the Iban tribe in East Malaysia and four Myanmar groups throughout the state.

Apart from planting local churches, the church has been reaching the aboriginal communities within Malaysia and migrant workers from Indonesia.

The influence of the New Life group of churches has also touched many nations around the world. New Life’s overseas missions program has reached nations like Cambodia, Russia, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, India, China, Australia and Thailand. Over 50 churches, congregations, ministries and physical community aid projects have been birthed through these overseas missions and they are still thriving today.

Rev. Jeremiah Yap is highly sought after as a speaker because of the strong prophetic and apostolic anointing upon his life and ministry. He is especially effective in camp situations where he has the freedom to operate in his prophetic gift which has impacted many lives because of its accuracy.

He has also been effectively used by the Lord in leadership and Pastors conferences. His leadership strength in mentoring leaders has been well received by many pastors that have sought him out to be their mentor. His group of New Life pastors have benefited greatly from his humble leadership.

His concept of team leadership is revolutionary and important for church development that enhances success and significance of leaders in churches.

Rev. Jeremiah and his wife Susan have 3 beautiful children – Jeremy, Stephen and Eunice. He was born again in 1975 in Melbourne, Australia. He obtained B.Econs (Accountancy) from Monash University, Australia and completed Bible Seminary training in Malaysian Bible Seminary with Master of Ministry. He was an Investigator in breaches of company and security industry matters with a government department for 5 years and was a Bank Manager for 7 years in a Foreign Bank before serving the Lord full-time.
